The coolest Nike vid in years
A high celeb call including Eden Hazard and Mo Farah, plus cultural cool cats Skepta and J Hus take this frenetic ad to dizzying fun levels.
Hot off the presses and straight onto the blogaroo! This is the best Nike vid to come out in, like, forever. Called Nothing Beats A Londoner, it’s a 3-minute frantic journey through the city, showing 258 real young Londoners doing their favourite sports, despite the strange locations and difficulties of the urban environment.
It’s a joke that kind of builds, as the teens keep showing how hard they have it, trying to do their sport against the conditions. Plenty of sporting cameos including Gareth Southgate as God (er, discuss!) plus Mo Farah, Eden Hazard, Harry Kane, Steph Houghton, Nathanial Chalobah, Dina Asher-Smith and Alex Iwobi, plus cultural cool cats Skepta, Dave, Giggs, J Hus and AJ Tracey.
What do you think of the video? Do you think it inspires kids to get off their bums and into sport?
