Muddy says: bouncing, sliding and splashing around on giant inflatable obstacle courses on two idyllic woodland lakes is the best fun ever – and the kids might like it too.
Dorset Waterpark is a huge woodland water park spread over two lakes overlooked by the impressive ruins of Corfe Castle.
Castle Lake and Woodland Lake have exciting action loops of giant inflatable obstacles to tackle – trampoline, slides, climbers, flip bag, monkey bars, wiggle bridge, slack line and balance beam – with yellow-shirted lifeguards on hand to look after your safety and make sure you have a great time.
Anyone over age of 6 who can swim can book in for 1 hour sessions (you can save money if you book 7 days ahead). Wear your own wetsuit and wetsuit shoes or old trainers (or hire theirs). You can even swap your outgrown wetsuit for one that fits. There are changing rooms and lockers – and plenty of free parking.
Bring your own picnic or buy a burger, sausage or bacon bap, Purbeck ice cream or chunk of Dorset Apple Cake (tried and tested: delicious) from the Snack Shack on the hillside by the lakes.
A great place for kids’ parties or hen parties (which include a Prosecco picnic).
