In Plain Sight

Muddy says – in this unusual therapy, ‘four-leggers’ (horses) work with ‘two-leggers’ (qualified therapists and horse specialists) to help develop a sense of well-being in the rest of us

In Plain Sight are based in Wiltshire but it’s so unusual, we thought you might want to know about their unique services, as they offer professional support in developing a sense of well-being through work with horses. The ‘four-leggers’ (horses) work with ‘two-leggers’ (qualified therapists and horse specialists) to help develop a sense of well-being in the rest of us.

In Plain Sight is a collaboration between Referre Ltd which offers psychiatric services and consultation; and Greenlands Farm that specialises in breeding Eriskay ponies and playing high level sports with horses.
All their facilitators are trained in the approach developed during the late 1990s by the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA).
They work in Wiltshire in the beautiful village of Great Cheverell and offer services both for therapy and personal growth.
Working with horses in therapy and personal growth is a fast growing field. In Plain Sight offers both help and support to those dealing with depression, anxiety and other mental health issues, as well as team development and team building activities. With a large team of both horses and therapists, they can offer full continuity of care in a beautiful, restful, productive environment.
