Bini Ludlow of Sweet Cumin grew up in Bradford, West Yorkshire and learned traditional Gujarati cooking from her mother and aunties from an early age. Believing that Indian cooking is about loving the ingredients and not rushing the cooking, she now passes on her skills, knowledge and passion for food to others at her award-winning Indian cookery classes run from her own home just outside Midsomer Norton. On full and half day courses, cooks of all abilities (adult beginners, intermediate and advanced, as well as children) can learn how to blend spices with confidence and create authentic Indian dishes. She also runs tailor-made classes.

Sweet Cumin was listed as one of the Top Foodie Courses in the UK by The Guardian in December 2015, and was a finalist for the British Cookery School Awards 2013 – Best Small Cookery School.

Bini also produces her own range of authentic, home-cooked Indian frozen ready meals. These are cooked in small batches in her own kitchen using traditional family recipes and locally sourced ingredients. These have been awarded five Great Taste Awards and won Taste of the West best Local Food to Go 2015. You can order and find a complete list of stockists throughout Somerset and beyond on her website.

Bini has also appeared on TV and radio.
