The Bruton Decorative Antiques Fair, on at the Haynes International Motor Museum in Sparkford between Fri 18–Sun 20 October, attracts around 50 of the UK’s top dealers and their vast array of traditional and decorative antiques for the house and garden. With everything from rustic folk art to mid-century design, it’s a unique interiors design hub in rural Somerset. I mean, where else are you going to find Scandi leather and chrome sofas, Bertie Bassett lamps and Gustavian bookcases all in the same place? There’s nothing else quite like it.
The BBC Antique Roadshow‘s expert Mark Hill be leading tours around the show picking out his favourite pieces but in the meantime, here’s the Muddy pick of this year’s stylish crop.

The Fair’s open to the public on Friday 18 Oct, 2pm – 5pm; Saturday 19 Oct 11am – 5pm; and Sunday 20 Oct between 11am – 4pm. In the trade? Get in ahead of the crowd on Friday 18 Oct between 11am – 2pm. BBC’s Antiques Roadshow expert Mark Hill will be at the Fair on Saturday 19 Oct.
