Balance, the countryside gym
Muddy says: A unique and personal training space far from the madding crowds
In between climbing Morrocan mountains and walking across the Sahara (yes, honestly) for charity, dedicated sportswoman Sue Jackson has somehow found time to set up a unique training space to pass on her passion for fitness to others.
Balance, the countryside gym in the oh so peaceful village of Timsbury, just outside Bath, is just about as far removed as you can get from the bustle of a busy city gym.
The studio and outside space is perched on a hill in the village, with chic changing facilities and herbal teas if you fancy.
Fitness instructor and personal trainer Sue and her team offer a wide range of small fitness classes including yoga (a huge variety, including yoga for teens), pilates, boxercise, ballet barre, kettles, high and low circuits, ski fit, body conditioning, boot camp, stretch and core – and more.
Need one-to-one to get you into shape? Think about personal training.
Got an aching back? Their 45-minute postural analysis and corrective exercises may help.
If you can’t see what you need on their timetable, they’ll come up with a plan.
And did I mention their Tuscan yoga retreat? Form an orderly queue now!
