Muddy says: Luxury eco lodges with hot tubs, close to the Cheddar Gorge, one of the UK’s most spectacular landscapes – shall I stop there? Wait, there’s more…
Architect-designed, wood-clad luxury lodges at a family-run, independent park set on a 14-acre estate in the beautiful Somerset countryside just outside Cheddar.
Light and spacious, the one and two-bed lodges, sleeping 2–4 people, have open plan living spaces with fully equipped kitchens, dining and seating areas. Bedrooms have super king-size and/or twin beds, crisp white bedlinen and wall-mounted TVs with Freeview and DVD players (nice). Bathrooms are large, with monsoon showers, deep baths and fluffy bathrobes and towels. Internet/Wi-fi, of course.
Each lodge is individually decorated with stylish furniture and artworks. Some come with woodburners, Bang & Olufsen tech and luxury hampers. Some have ramp access. Some are pet-friendly. Choose the one that suits you.
All have a private decked terrace with a bubbling jacuzzi, seating and BBQ.
Come with the family or just à deux.
Lots to do round about: Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, Draycott Sleights nature reserve on the doorstep; Wells, Bath and Bristol about half an hour away.
Or you could just crack open the prosecco, slip into your hot tub and soak up the views of the sumptuous Somerset scenery.
