Muddy says: Cake artist extraordinaire Zoë Burmester creates unique edible sculptures that are – almost – too good to eat
Believe it or not, this friendly fella is a cake.
Multi award-winning cake artist and former film set stylist Zoë Burmester of Sugar Street Studios, blends artistic flair with delicious patisserie to provide exquisite, creative and often jaw dropping cakes and cake sculptures for all types of events and parties.
Her unique edible sculptures are the perfect centrepiece for milestone birthdays, special anniversaries, event launches or corporate events. The desire to celebrate people and their special occasions is at the heart of what Zoë does. Working closely with her clients, she offers detailed design sketches through to flavour profiles and tastings to ensure that each of her cake creations is truly unique and memorable.
Based in Wells, Zoë designs cakes and food art for clients in Somerset and all round the country, and her work is also regularly featured on Channel 4’s award winning TV series Extreme Cake Makers.
And those awards? Loads, most recently: Finalist in the Rising Star Category Cake Masters Awards 2018; Gold at Cake International 2017; and Gold and 1st place at Cake & Bake London 2017. Maybe you saw her win The Great British Cake Decorator on Kirstie Allsopp’s Handmade Christmas in 2016?
