This Ridiculusmus production is part of Mayfest, Bristol’s unique international festival of contemporary theatre running until Sat 20 May.

Feel a bit naughty by being in the Roman Baths after hours. Jig around to live music, sip some booze and if the mood takes you, follow the burning torches into the museum itself. Part of the Museums at Night Festival 2018, where a whole bunch of museums across the UK opening their doors at night between Weds 16–Fri 18 May. Same thing happens around Halloween.
Seven Decades of Sound, M Shed, Bristol, Sat 19 May–Sat 30 Sept
With more festivals than you can shake a stick at, fiercely independent venues and a rich mix of styles, genres and sound, Bristol’s reputation is one of a musical juggernaut. This exhibition tells the city’s musical story from the 50s onwards. That’s me, 5th from the right.
A Celebration of Flowers, Victoria Art Gallery, Bath Sat 19–Sun 2 Sept
Renowned colour expert and fabric designer Kaffe Fassett and long-term collaborator Candace Bahouth, fill the gallery with flower inspired quilts, needlepoints, mosaic candlesticks, benches, a chandelier – and this shoe.

Boob tubes on and dance your way through the 70s, 80s and 90s with disco dynamos Boney M, not so boyish now East 17 and Dutch euro dance band The Vengaboys (who they? ed). With support from Filta, Cornish SKA band Rudi’s Message and Yeovil-based Snakebyte.
