The actual New Year is Fri 16 Feb (of course, you knew that didn’t you?) but there are celebrations on Sat 17 Feb at Wai Wai Yee Hong supermarket in Bristol (live firecrackers, lion dancing, kung fu and as much Chinese foodstuffs as you can carry away with you) and on Sun 18 Feb at at Bath’s Museum of East Asian Art (free storytelling, activities and museum trails).
