Win a prize – every day – for the 12 days of Christmas

christmas-1100723_1280On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…

OK, so I’m not your true love but I do quite like you so I’m giving away a prize every single day for the 12 days of Christmas, starting today, Thurs 1 December. I’ll be posting a different prize each day here on the blog – and sharing on Facebook and Twitter. And I’m feeling generous so I’m throwing an extra prize in for luck – and I think it’s one you’re really, really going to like…

To enter the competition, all you have to do is:

LIKE Muddy Stilettos Somerset on Facebook, leave a few words in the comment box and SHARE

FOLLOW @muddysomerset and RT on Twitter

Or do both (you’ll double your chances).

Simple as that. I’ll draw a name out of my virtual hat at 11pm each evening and announce the winner for each day.

So let’s see what’s inside my goody bag…

First, the latest addition to the stash: a Large Christmas Chocolate Hamper from Choc on Choc – worth £60

Start drooling, this prize is a hamper containing six of Choc on Choc‘s irresistible chocolate collections:  chocolate biscuits, chocolate penguins with salted caramel truffles, white chocolate sprouts, Christmas chocolate cup charms, milk chocolate reindeer and chocolate gingerbread men with snowflakes. It’s all handmade from dark, milk and white Belgian chocolate in the Somerset village of Rode, just outside Bath. I’m in love. Choc on Choc will post the hamper, worth £60, to the winner.

Two tickets to Grace Alexander Flower’s ‘Complete Christmas’ at Forde Abbey –worth £196getfileattachment-1Join psychologist turned florist extraordinaire Grace Alexander at Forde Abbey in Chard for a day of festive workshops. You’ll be using foliage and berries from the estate, flowers, Somerset willow and perhaps a vintage bauble or two to making a stunning Christmas wreath, a centre piece for the table and some gorgeous gift tags and place settings – everything provided, including mince pies and mulled wine. The prize is for two tickets for three 90-minute workshops, to the value of £196.  If you don’t win the prize you can always buy tickets here.

Stunning pendant hand crafted by Frome’s gem of a jeweller, Eleanor Christine Jewellery – worth £75

The prize is one of her signature designs, a cute Hermes Wings pendant worth £75. The pendant is made from sterling silver set with a 6mm diameter icy blue chalcedony and strung on a 40cm sterling silver rope chain. Can I enter my own competition?

A case of delizioso Italian wine from Arthouse Wine – worth £82

Two set of family tickets to Around the World in 80 Days, the new Christmas show at Taunton’s The Brewhouse – worth £116around-the-world-online-image-700x460Christmas isn’t Christmas without a trip to the theatre and this year’s hottest ticket takes you on a journey by Chinese junk, a hot air balloon and even an elephant’s back on the trail of Phineas Fogg and his French valet Passepartout. The show’s at The Brewhouse in Taunton from Sat 10- Sat 31 Dec and we’ve got two sets of tickets for a family of four, each set worth £58, for two lucky winners…. so I’m counting this as two separate prizes.
